Past President 

Chair: Reggie Newson

Role is to advise and assist the executive board as the immediate past president. Also serves as a liaison to the President of the MULYP. Assist the executive board with strategic planning in moving forward the organizational and community missions of the Urban League.                                   Email: Reggie.Newson@tmulyp.org

Community Service

Co-Chair: Felicia Malone Co-Chair: Katherine Morris

Plans and implements creative and impacting service projects. Mobilizes volunteers from other organizations. Works with the MUL in providing volunteers for MUL services. Duties can include overseeing the mentoring, tutoring, scholarship sub-committees, one-day visits to schools, hosting a career day, adopting a school, mentoring, voter registration, and etc. Email: Felicia.Malone@tmulyp.org or Katherine.Morris@tmulyp.org

Fundraising

Chair: Shantel Bacchus

Oversees the raising of money for MULYP projects and scholarships though corporate development, grants, and social activities, auctions, net workers, holiday events, golf and bowling tournaments, blacks tie events, and so forth. Membership

Chair: Sean Lowe

Recruits new members and keeps in touch with current and old members. Assists the Social and Cultural committee in creating member and nonmember hospitality events. Goals are getting meeting notices to members, creating a list of benefits for members, fine tuning mailing and emailing systems, increase membership and turn out at meetings and overall membership contact. This can be done through a variety of ways: networkers, phone calling, and guest presentations at meetings. Email: Sean.Lowe@tmulyp.org

Personal and Professional Development

Chair: Rayna Andrews

Plans events or projects which assist members with financial planning, promotes entrepreneurship, enhances career skills, and introduces topics of general interest for roundtable discussion (politics, health, community development). Provides guest speakers for MULYP meetings. Organizes membership retreats; acts as liaison with other Urban League Young Professional groups.         Email:  Rayna.Andrews@tmulyp.org

Politics and Policy

Co-Chair: Sonya Mays Co-Chair: Caroline Archia-Adams

Plan various events (i.e. candidate forums and voter registration drives) using various platforms, which help to ensure that the community at large is informed and educated on issues that affect their lives and communities. As part of the national agenda, the Politics and Policy committee also works to engage its constituents in the political process and encourage them to affect change for better communities. Public Relations

Chair: Open

Promotes the events and activities of the group. Goals are getting information out to the public about community events and projects the young professionals work on and to promote the image of the young professionals. This can be done through developing a website, newsletters, news releases, promotional material, and sending thank you letters out when appropriate. Email: Open

Social and Cultural

Chair: Sabrina Jackson

Plans social and cultural-awareness events for the MULYP. Increases the camaraderie of MULYP membership. Goals are to seek out opportunities for members to socialize and be exposed to their cultural heritage. This can be done through networkers, guest speakers, holiday events, plays, and so forth. Webmaster 

Chair: Sean Lowe

Responsible for the Milwaukee Urban League Young Professionals website, contact facilitation, project development, log file analysis, accessibility, email accounts, search engine optimization, and general inquiries regarding the website and the organization. Health and Wellness  

Chair: Open

The Health and Wellness Chair is responsible for the health and well-being of our members as well as the community.
